Carthage art professor Diane Levesque has received a prestigious fellowship from the Racine Art Museum. Prof. Levesque is one of four artists selected for the RAM Artist Fellowship Program.

The RAM Artist Fellowship Program aims “to showcase the diversity and vitality of the Racine/Kenosha visual arts community by supporting the professional development of its artists.”

Sponsored by the Osborne and Scekic Family Foundation, the competitive awards recognize artists at all stages of their careers, who are creating outstanding work in all media. Each artist receives a $2,500 fellowship to be used to assist in the creation of new work. Recipients will be featured in solo exhibitions at RAM’s Wustum Museum of Fine Arts.

This is the second round of the RAM Artist Fellowship Program. Carthage art professor Kimberly Greene was selected for the program’s first round in 2012.
