October 11, 2019

Join us for the public kickoff of Carthage’s yearlong celebration commemorating 150 years of enrolling women. Our launch event will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11 in A. F. Siebert Chapel.

President John Swallow and his wife Cameron Swallow will address how the 150 Years of Carthage Women Celebration enables us as a community to not only celebrate our past but to intensify our commitment to the next generation of Carthage women.

The celebration co-chairs, Gina Madrigrano Friebus ’76 and Maria Markusen ’91, along with the 77 women on our volunteer committee, invite you to join trustees, students, celebrated alumni, and current and former faculty members as we kick-off this exciting year!

“While the entire evening will be exciting, I look forward to being in the room with so many powerful women. We all share a love for Carthage, and want to pay it forward for the many women who will follow in our footsteps.”
