Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium awards $2,000 renewable scholarships to outstanding undergraduate students identified as a member of a federally recognized minority group (African American, Native American, Hispanic/Latino, or Pacific Islander) enrolled in a STEM program of study, demonstrating an interest in aerospace or supporting NASA’s mission.  

NASA is looking for people with diverse backgrounds to support a variety of projects: microbiologists, biologists, chemists, physicists, astronomers, electricians, mechanics, computer programmers, electrical, mechanical, and civil engineers, medical doctors, health professionals and many more. It’s not just about space. It’s also about earth science, aviation, climate change and technology to improve our lives.

Applications for the STEM Bridge Scholarship are due Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019.

To apply:

  • Register on the WSGC website. Applicants will be prompted to update personal information annually. 
  • Upload a current resume to applicant profile (optional). Applicants must check box in order to allow WSGC to share the applicant resume with Wisconsin Aerospace Industry partners for co-op, internship, and employment opportunities.
  • Sign in and submit the Grant Application Form (applicants may apply to multiple funding programs) and supporting documents.
