The Carthage Cares Program, in conjunction with Carolynn Friesch and the LIS team, will support Racine Unified School District’s annual “Hour of Code” program.

RUSD and Higher Expectations are hosting a multi-day event and need the assistance of community volunteers. The program provides fun activities that expose students to programming and teaches creativity, problem solving, and perseverance. No programming experience is required to participate. This will take place during Computer Science Week, which is from Dec. 2 through Dec. 13 at 10 RUSD elementary schools.

Interested volunteers need to sign up with RUSD and complete the Carthage Care volunteer form. Please notify Carolynn of your participation!

Please bring the completed form to the Human Resources Office in order to receive your Carthage Care T-shirt. The human resources staff is available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Special thanks to Carolynn and the LIS Team for spearheading this great volunteer event.
