Carthage Philharmonic Concert - March 2019

The Carthage Philharmonic will perform in concert at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10 in A. F. Siebert Chapel. The ensemble will perform under the direction of Professor E. Edward Kawakami.

The Carthage Philharmonic Orchestra is an ensemble dedicated to engaging students and audiences with standard orchestral repertoire. In addition, the group encourages growth, excellence, and companionship. Past concerts have included standard orchestral pieces from composers such as Bach, Beethoven, Handel, Vivaldi, and more. In celebration of the 150 years of Carthage Women, the concert will feature Alexandra Dee as a guest conductor and Debbie Masloski on piano, with works by Emma Lou Diemer, Amy Beach, and Yukiko Nishimura.
