Prof. Terry Papillon speaks on Isocrates and modern education tomorrow

The Classics DepartmentEta Sigma Phi, and Carthage’s Philosophy Club present a lecture titled “The Legacy of Isocrates: Ancient Rhetoric and Modern Education by Terry Papillon, vice president for academic affairs, dean of the college, and professor of classics at the University of the South. The lecture will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7, in the Niemann Media Theater, and will follow with a response from Provost David Timmerman. This lecture is free and open to the public.
