Hoover Elementary sweatpants and socks drive

Dear Carthage community,

Carthage nursing students are funding a drive to support Hoover Elementary School and provide them with extra sweatpants and socks. These students are in need of resources during the winter season coming up, especially for students and families who cannot afford the extra clothing. After collaboration with the school principal, socks and sweatpants were decided to be the most useful resource for students. The clothing will be borrowed out, and washed and returned to the school after use to maintain a steady supply for all students. 

How can you help?

There will be a donation box in Lentz Hall in the Nursing Lab, which is located to the left once you enter the main entrance. You can drop off your donations from Wednesday, Nov. 13 through Tuesday, Dec. 3. 

This community would greatly appreciate your support and any amount of donation is encouraged. Let’s please help this community in need the best we can, and help these children and families be prepared for the winter months!
