Professor Michele Hancock and Carthage alumna Dr. Dominique Pritchett ’07 will be keynote speakers at the 2nd Annual Sentinel Mentors Education Summit on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Racine Public Library.

This year’s summit will focus on how trauma impacts education for black children and how it creates Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Prof. Hancock and  Dr. Pritchett will also host several workshops that will provide tools and resources for parents to help their children become successful on their educational journey.

This event is free and open to the public. Metered parking is available on Lake Ave. or in the parking lots near Pershing Drive.
