Micah Pahl ’21 won an award for Outstanding Prosecution Attorney and Liv Higgins ’23 won an award for Outstanding Prosecution Witness. Previous award winners this season have included Jonathan Allen ’22 and Braden Kundert ’21.

Two Carthage teams participated in the tournament for the second consecutive year. Carthage red team captains are Braden Kundert ’22 and Elizabeth Stroh ’21. Black team captains are Kaitlyn Richardson ’21 and Anne Ewart ’22.

Both teams will continue preparing for the regional tournament in Minneapolis, where they will compete from Feb. 21 through 23.

Mock Trial is a course in Criminal Justice (CRJ 3300), which is taught each fall by Professor Michael Phegley. This year’s assistant coaches are Loren Keating, Kenosha County court commissioner, and Margaret Johnson, attorney. Maham Ali ’19 and Joshua Kundert ’19 are graduate assistant coaches. In addition, Professor Art Cyr and the A. W. Clausen Center for World Business continue to provide support at each tournament and throughout the season.
