Carthage Enactus will host the 3rd annual Quick Pitch Competition from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, in rooms 128B and 128C of the Todd Wehr Center! The event provides Carthage students an opportunity to pitch their small business ideas or products, to local business professionals! The pitch will consist of a five-minute presentation about the business or product idea, followed by a two-minute question and answer session from our panel of judges. The winner will receive a monetary gift to further progress their idea! There will also be a people’s choice pitch, in which the crowd will vote on their favorite! The winner of the people’s choice will also receive a monetary gift!

Prior to our competition, The Aspire Center will host a workshop regarding career fair skills and other aspects of the job hunt. The workshop will be from 4:30pm-5:30pm.

After our pitch competition, we will be hearing from a member of the Carthage faculty regarding diversity and equality in the workplace. The goal of the event is to inspire and excite young business professionals in the Carthage community!

RSVP is open on The Harbor!
