Wisconsin’s Spring Election and Presidential Primary will be held on Tuesday, April 7. As of Wednesday, March 25, Wisconsin has not rescheduled the election. To vote while also following the guidelines of social distancing, request an absentee ballot.

You can request an absentee ballot be mailed to your home address or a different address than where you’re registered, so students who are from a different state but registered to vote with their on-campus address can still participate in Wisconsin’s Spring Election and Presidential Primary. You also have the opportunity to request absentee ballots be mailed to you for all 2020 elections.

To request an absentee ballot for the Wisconsin primaries, visit myvote.wi.gov or email elections@kenosha.org. The deadline to request a regular absentee ballot online is Thursday, April 2, though there are deadlines for other circumstances.

Please note: Some states have rescheduled their spring elections in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. If you’re from a different state and registered to vote in that state, find out if your state’s spring election has been rescheduled. If it has, you can request an absentee ballot for your state.
