Faculty Panel: Let’s talk fellowships TODAY
Grants aren’t the only way to financially support your research and creative projects. Undergraduate teaching awards, residencies, and fellowship programs can be a fantastic way to fund and carve out time to work on those research and creative projects you are passionate about.
Attend a Zoom panel discussion from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, May 1 to learn ways you can support your projects.
Learn from your colleagues about:
- Where to look for these kinds of funding opportunities
- How to identify the right teaching award, residency, or fellowship program for your project
- Key components of developing a competitive proposal
- How to make the most of your award
Panelists include:
- Professor Paul Ulrich — Residency fellowship with the University of Colorado’s Benson Center for the Study of Western Civilization
- Professor Peter Dennee — Fulbright Scholar to research music in Tanzania
- Professor Mimi Yang — Awarded a New England Regional Fellowship (2020-21) by the Massachusetts Historical Society
- Professor Jojin Van Winkle — 2019 Summer Residency with The Arteles Creative Center in Finland
