Last weekend, five Carthage students competed in the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Musical Theater Auditions in Chicago. Due to the current stay-at-home order, singers were invited to submit video recordings to be judged virtually.

Congratulations to Madeline Lambert ’20, Isabell Esquivel ’20, and Taylor Bulanek ’23 for advancing to the finals.

Anna Brown ’21 received third place in the College Junior Division. She studies voice with instructor Peg Cleveland and Professor Jeremy Mossman.

Katrina Seabright ’22 earned third place in the College Sophomore Division. Katrina also studies voice with instructor Peg Cleveland.

“The written feedback from several judges in the field proved encouraging and affirming that our singers are doing excellent work,” said Peg Cleveland. “This is a competitive area in Chicago, and our students performed really well.”
