Professor Anthony Barnhart, Chair of the Psychological Science Department, has been named a Fellow of the Psychonomic Society, the preeminent society for the experimental study of cognition, with over 4,300 members worldwide.

Fellow status in the society is awarded to “members who demonstrate clear evidence of independent scholarship, active engagement in methodologically rigorous and theoretically interesting high level research, and indications of an imminent national/international reputation for excellence in the psychological sciences.”

Prof. Barnhart is one of seven scientists recognized with this honor in Spring 2020.
