Beginning Wednesday, Dec. 16, all Carthage users will access Schoology through OneLogin. Please make sure you get set up in OneLogin by then. After this, you can access Schoology and other apps through OneLogin.

What is OneLogin?

OneLogin is Carthage’s new system for user IDs and passwords. By summer 2021, all of our systems will use OneLogin to connect. Apps like CoursEval and Ad Astra switched over in October. Schoology will switch in December, and Google will switch in January.

Why the change?

Convenience: OneLogin will provide a one-stop dashboard with links to multiple systems. Log in once to access multiple applications such as Google, Schoology, my.carthage, Office 365, and many other systems.

Security: OneLogin uses two-factor authentication to keep your login safe. You will need to set up your two-factor authentication once to get started.

Consistency: When this project is complete, more apps than ever will authenticate through OneLogin, so the same one login and password will work for all of them. You will be able to change your password in OneLogin and that will be the password for all of your apps.

Note: Your login and password will not change. Your email address will not change.

All current user IDs and passwords have already been moved over to OneLogin.

What do I need to do?

Get ready early by logging in at https://carthage.onelogin.com and setting up your two-factor authentication. Use your current user ID and password.

View instructions and watch a video on how to set up your account.

If you would like for LIS to work with your office, department, or organization, let us know, and we will set up a Zoom meeting to help your group get set up!
