Thinking about applying to law school? Attend an information session TODAY
Students who are thinking about applying to law school next year are invited to a general information Q&A session from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, March 8, on Zoom.
This meeting is especially relevant for Carthage juniors and seniors who are planning to apply in fall 2021, but any interested Carthage student may attend.
Issues being addressed include:
- Navigating the Law School Admission Council’s “Credential Assembling Service”
- Preparing for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT)
- Letters of recommendation
- Writing a personal statement
The session is hosted by Professor Thomas Powers, Carthage pre-law coordinator, and Professor Michael Phegley, attorney and Carthage Mock Trial coach. Joining them are Trevor Jung from The Aspire Center and Braden Kundert ’21, president of the Carthage pre-law fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta. Students now attending law school will also likely attend.
