This CANS student members provide service hours and volunteer work for many different Kenosha and Racine area community groups. Members also learn how to advance in the nursing profession through educational opportunities and events. Your gifts to this campaign will support all of these efforts that help our students, as well as the communities around Carthage.

Members of CANS have volunteered with Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago by making virtual Valentine’s Day cards and fundraising to buy toys and gifts for their pediatric cancer patients. CANS students have also fundraised for Cancer Kiss My Cooley, which provides pediatric cancer patients and their families enjoyable experiences to create special and lasting memories.

In the Kenosha community, CANS students made over 100 blessing bags filled with non-perishable food, razors, hats, gloves, scarves, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other items for both the Women and Children Horizons and The Shalom Center. These students have also held a “CANS for Cans” food drive to benefit the Shalom Center and Women and Children’s Horizons.

Make your gift now to support these incredible students!
