All are invited to ‘Japan’s Greatest Hits: Music Across the Flow of Time’ TODAY
After losing WWII, Japan stopped banning Western culture and started to play jazz and rock ’n’ roll for the American occupation army at their camps. Since then, their music scene has evolved a lot.
The Carthage Japanese Program invites you to listen to Japanese hit songs and explore how Japan revived the economy, what happened in society, and how those changes affected their music scenes from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 9, on Zoom.
This event is created by Midori Iwamoto, Japanese Target Language Expert.
