Students working in the Mac lab. If you plan to participate in an experiential learning opportunity this summer, such as an internship or research project, but are hesitant due to financial restrictions, The Aspire Center may be able to help.

Apply for experiential learning funding

The Aspire Center strongly encourages and supports students who pursue experiential learning opportunities to broaden their skillset, gain experience, and expand their network. We also recognize that sometimes those experiences may come at a cost, and students have to weigh gaining professional experiences or working a paying job.

There is a single application for all internship funding sources, so you only need to apply once to be considered. Priority goes to unpaid internships that have costs associated with them. All majors and class year cohorts are encouraged to apply.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Tom Wood, career specialist, at  twood@carthage.edu.
