In association with Moon Shot for Equity efforts, the College has partnered with Shaun Harper and the USC Race and Equity Center for a year-long series to engage faculty, staff, and students on issues related to race and equity. These eConvenings can be complementary to other initiatives across campus, including activities for the Equity and Inclusion Certificate Program, the ARISE program, annual DEI team activities, supplemental coursework, and personal growth and development.

We are officially launching the first session of this series,”Leading Productive Conversations About Race,” from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 18.

Join the session on Zoom

We welcome the first 100 participants. We understand that individuals may not be able to commit to the entire session due to potential scheduling conflicts during May Term, but we welcome you to engage with the content at your discretion. Additionally, the session will be recorded and posted to the Moon Shot for Equity website.

The Intercultural Center will reach out to faculty, staff, and students as the year progresses to remind them of sessions that could be of particular interest.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
