The research presented will center around structural evolutionary changes that have caused the modern population to develop widespread breathing dysfunction and how to develop healthy breathing habits using lifestyle factors and specific breathing exercises. For singers, the lecture will also discuss breathwork to help with performance anxiety as well as a potential for developing tolerance to lower oxygen levels therefore a comfortability with longer sung phrases.
