Wisconsin STEAM teachers in grade 6-12

Let your STEAM lessons fly!

Now accepting applications from non-Wisconsin Teachers!

The Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium is pleased to partner with the National Space Society and the ZERO Gravity Corporation (ZERO-G) to offer a workshop on microgravity flight basics and curriculum module development for teachers interested in flying with us. Up to ten teachers will be selected to participate in the workshop. Workshop travel (for Wisconsin teachers) and parabolic flight costs for selected teachers are fully supported by the WSGC and the NASA Flight Opportunities Program. Two teachers from among the workshop attendees will be funded to perform their experiments on a parabolic flight. WSGC and the NASA Flight Opportunities Program are supporting the design and fabrication of teacher-devised experiments, the flight on ZERO-G’s G-FORCE ONE, and videography of the teacher’s experience. If you are a STEAM teacher with at least five years of in-class experience, read more about the program and apply here

Workshop Dates: October 8-9, 2021

Workshop Location: Carthage College

ZERO-G Flight Weeks: November 15-19, 2021 and TBD March 2022.
