As a Zoom user, do you need additional benefits beyond the basic free account? Starting Wednesday, July 21, any current employee or student will be able to sign up for a Zoom account that gives the user the benefits of a paid account, this includes things like longer meeting times and the ability to record.

By going to OneLogin, users will see a Zoom icon that will allow them to sign up for an account.

  • If you are already using a free account with your Carthage email address, it will ask you if you want to go ahead with this move. You will not lose any of your meetings. You will also have the option to change your free basic account to another email address if you choose to do so.
  • If you do not have a Zoom account with your Carthage email address, it will automatically create one for you after clicking on the icon in OneLogin.
  • If you already have an official Carthage Zoom account, this will just be another way of being able to log into Zoom through OneLogin.

Logging into your Zoom account via other methods will not currently change (i.e. Google).
