H. F. Johnson Gallery of Art Presents: “Natural History”

Artists Iris Bernblum and Jessie Mott navigate a shared longing for the unknowable natural world through animalic kinship. The exhibition conjures a sensual environment, imbuing the space with scent, sound, and lush color.

Patio Pops Concert
2 p.m., Hedberg Library patio (rainsite — A. F. Siebert Chapel)
Our annual concert will focus on pieces inspired by mechanical devices or images.  Several selections by Leroy Anderson (“The Typewriter,” “The Syncopated Clock”) as well as the Raymond Scott “Powerhouse” used on numerous Warner Brothers cartoons will be performed. Learn more

Around the World Catering
4-7:30 p.m., Kissing Rock
Learn about different cultures through a unique experience that promotes the homecoming week theme: Around the World! Each booth will have a cultural organization accompanied by a different cultural dish. Taste some great food and learn about others’ cultures. Learn more

Center for Faith and Spirituality (CFS) Opening Student Dinner
5:30 p.m., Todd Wehr Center Jockey Room B
Hear about CFS programs and involvement opportunities, such as weekly Interfaith Lunch, SPIRIT Worship, Catholic Mass, the fall blood drive, Just Lunch, and more. All are welcome, but students must reserve a spot for the dinner. Learn more and RSVP
