Halloween contests: Pet, home decor, and jack-o’-lantern submissions due TODAY

Staff Council Tianna Conway 2020 Halloween Best Individual Costume Winnerinvites all faculty and staff members to participate in Carthage’s annual Halloween Costume Contest. We are excited to announce expanded competition categories combined with multiple opportunities to show your Halloween spirit:

Best Costume — Individual (Friday, Oct. 15)

Show off your costume during Faculty and Staff in The Caf from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15.

Office Costume Contest (Friday, Oct. 29)

• Best Group Costume — Office or Division
• Best Office Decor

For group costumes and office decor, please send an email to staffcouncil@carthage.edu, and an emissary will stop by your office and take a picture.

Virtual Costume Contest (Monday, Nov. 1)

• Nora Nickels 2020 Halloween Best Pet Costume WinnerBest Pet Costum
• Best Home Decor
• Best Jack-O’-Lantern

To submit your pet/home/jack-o’-lantern picture, please email a photo to staffcouncil@carthage.edu by 5 p.m. Monday, Nov 1.

Rules and voting

Each category’s winner will receive a gift certificate to a local Kenosha business, a ghoulish trophy, and bragging rights for the next 365 days. You may compete in multiple categories but are limited to one submission per category. 

Voting for winners will be from Tuesday, Nov. 2 through Thursday, Nov. 4. Winners will be announced Friday, Nov. 5.
