‘Seeing Yourself When You Don’t Necessarily See Yourself in a Career’
Everyone faces challenges when exploring careers…What do you do? How do you develop the skills to thrive?
Learn from Carthage alumna Pamela Dixon ’94 about how she went from considering law school to a career in technology during a presentation from 7 to 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, in the Lakeview Conference Room, located adjacent to The Aspire Center on the fourth floor of Lentz Hall.
Students from any major can learn from Ms. Dixon about:
- How to find a path that fits for you
- Finding your confidence when you don’t look or feel like everyone else
- Going from student to leader.
Ms. Dixon is currently the principal enterprise architect at Adobe. She has 15+ years in U.S. and international business consulting, business process design, systems integration, application design, and application-oriented process improvements in marketing technology and business intelligence. She is the “Olivia Pope” of digital marketing consulting and technology.
Refreshments will start at 7 p.m., and the presentation begins at 7:30 p.m.
