Megan Miles ?21 presented in the storytelling section. Megan Miles ’21 presented in the storytelling section. The Carthage Japanese program has successfully completed the virtual Japanese Storytelling and Singing Contest. We received 22 entries from seven universities and high schools. 

After anonymously reviewing all the video entries, the judging committee chose the following winners:

Storytelling section 

First place 

  • Stephanie G Korb, UW-Milwaukee, “日本の働く女性に対する社会的期待”
  • Jonathon Roecklein, UW-Milwaukee, “Okinawa: Victim of Location”

Second place

Third place
