Perform in the International Women’s Day Celebration: Sign-up ends TODAY
The Women’s and Gender Studies Program is looking for participants to perform in a celebration honoring International Women’s Day.
The celebration will consist of a performance of music and spoken word that recognizes women from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, in the Todd Wehr Center.

Students, faculty, and staff who are interested in participating are invited to email a description of what they would like to perform to Professor Danielle Geary ’00 at dgeary@carthage.edu before 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18.
Please include the following in your description:
- Title
- Author/composer
- Brief description of how your performance celebrates women
- Approximate length of performance
Appropriate performances include music, poetry, prose, and theatrical readings that are related to the celebration of women and are less than five minutes in length.
