Professor David Steege, senior associate provost and current faculty chair of the Carthage chapter of Alpha Chi, would like you to know that invitations to accept Alpha Chi membership will soon be sent to the top 10 percent of the Carthage Class of 2022.

Alpha Chi is a National Honor Scholarship Society active on more than 300 college and university campuses nationwide. Chapters induct approximately 10,000 students annually. Since the society’s founding in 1922, Alpha Chi members charged with upholding the tenets of truth and character have dedicated themselves to “making scholarship effective for good.” Alpha Chi is a member in good standing of the Association of College Honor Societies, the only national accrediting body for collegiate honor societies. The Wisconsin Delta chapter of Alpha Chi was inaugurated at Carthage in 1996.

Seniors in good standing in the top 10 percent of their class will receive an email invitation from alphachihonor.org. The invitation is for lifetime membership for a one-time fee and includes an invitation to the Alpha Chi Induction Ceremony at 9 a.m. Sunday, May 8, in the Campbell Student Union Auditorium. Further details will be shared in the invitation.

Please be aware that there are illegitimate honor societies (unfortunately) that may contact seniors as graduation draws near. This email is to introduce you to Alpha Chi at Carthage and, should you receive an invitation to join, to encourage you to do so.
