Join the English Department for the next Visiting Writers Series featuring poets Chad Morgan and Laura Solomon at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, in the Niemann Media Theater.

Chad Morgan Chad Morgan

Chad Morgan’s work has appeared in The Adroit Journal, Columbia Poetry, Court Green, Landfill, and elsewhere. He is the author of the poetry collection “Chad Morgan & Other Poems,” due this spring from Meekling Press. He lives in Chicago and is teaching creative writing this year at Carthage.

Laura Solomon Laura Solomon

Laura Solomon is the author of three books of poetry, including “The Hermit” and “Blue and Red Things” from Ugly Duckling Press, and “Bivouac” from Slope Editions. She has worked as an editor, teacher, and translator, and currently serves with her partner Jenny Gropp as an executive director of the nonprofit literary arts center Woodland Pattern in Milwaukee. She is teaching creative writing this spring at Carthage.
