Do you want to spend a year abroad after graduation? Are you interested in teaching or researching? Would you like to share American culture with your hosts? Can you imagine yourself as a part of a prestigious program to promote international understanding?

If you can answer “yes” to any of these questions, you should consider applying for a Fulbright Fellowship. Learn about the fellowship during an information session from 11 a.m. to noon Monday, May 16, in Clausen Center Room 207 (Troha Boardroom).

After completing their undergraduate degree, Fulbright Scholars travel abroad to their host countries to do research or work as English teaching assistants for a year. The scholarship covers all of their expenses. The program is one of the most widely recognized and prestigious scholarships in the world, and Carthage students have won 33 of these awards since 2008.

If you are a third- or fourth-year student, please consider attending one of the upcoming information sessions to learn about how you can begin preparing a Fulbright application now for the fall 2022 deadline.

If you are a first- or second-year student, please join us for one of these information sessions to learn about the Fulbright Program and to learn how you can prepare to be a strong candidate for a scholarship in the coming years.

Recent graduates are also invited to attend these sessions.
