The Student Award Ceremony, which takes places every year at the annual Celebration of Scholars, recognizes student achievements in leadership, campus involvement, service, and academics. Awards include Individual Awards, Organizational Awards, Intellectual Foundations Scholarship Awards, and the 2022 Distinguished Senior Award.

Interfaith Program of the Year

This award is designed to recognize and honor the efforts of a program (single event) or initiative (over the course of time) for achievements, accomplishments, and commitment to sharing appreciative knowledge, building relationships and positive attitudes around faith and non-faith worldview during the academic year.

Model United Nations receives Community Service Program of the Year Award for their organization ... Community Service Program of the Year

This award is designed to recognize and honor the efforts of a program (single event) or initiative (over the course of time) for achievements, commitment, and dedication to the betterment of individuals, the campus, and the community.

New Student Organization of the Year

This award recognizes an organization which has received full recognition during the current academic year. The organization will demonstrate a progression of growth throughout the year as indicated by their programming and membership. Along with fostering personal and professional excellence in its members, this organization will have had an impact on the Carthage community.

Student Organization Advisor of the Year

This award is designed to recognize the efforts of a student organization’s advisor who demonstrates a commitment to the betterment of the organization and its members. 

Enactus receives Student Organization of the Year. Student Organization of the Year

This award is given to up to two student organizations that demonstrate excellence in programming and membership throughout the year. Along with fostering personal and professional excellence in its members, these organizations have had an impact on the Carthage community.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Program of the Year

This award is designed to recognize and honor the efforts of a program (single event) or initiative (over the course of time) for achievements, accomplishments, and commitment to educating others about diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Natalie Lall ?22, 2022 Distinguished Senior Distinguished Senior Award

This is the highest award given to a graduating senior. The recipient exemplifies high academic achievement, service to the Carthage community, leadership in College organizations, and active engagement beyond the Carthage campus.
