On April 23, under the guidance and training of Professor Linfeng Li and Target Language Expert (TLE) Chih-Hsuan Tsao, two Carthage Chinese majors won awards in the annual Wisconsin Association of Chinese Language Teachers (WACLT) online Chinese speech competition.

Mikolaus Greguska ?24 wins an award at the WACLT Speech Contest. Competing in the heritage category, Lily Lourigan ’25 won first place. Her speech was titled “The Martial Art Club and I.”

Competing in the non-heritage intermediate category, Mikolas Greguska ’24 won third place. His speech was titled “Confucius and Education.”
