Your student is at a college that cares about faith. Carthage is rooted in our Lutheran identity and open to all faith and non-faith traditions.

The Center for Faith and Spirituality offers many ways students can get involved, grow in their faith, and learn about the faith of others on campus. The center hosts weekly programs such as Common Ground, Sunday Mass, Tuesday Chapel, and Interfaith Lunch on Thursdays. There is also additional service opportunities provided by our student staff throughout the semester.

Please also know that Pastor Kara Baylor is here for all students regardless of their faith background. If your student is struggling and needs someone to talk to, students are invited to turn to both our Health and Counseling Center and to Pastor Baylor.

We welcome all students and their families to the Carthage community. You belong here.
