TODAY is the last day to sign up for Carthage’s Anti-Racist Reading Group
The Carthage Anti-Racist Reading Group is about to enter our 7th round, and we invite all interested students, alumni, faculty, and staff to join us in reading and discussing Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz’s “An Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States.”
Those who may not have the time to read the full book, but who wish to join, may also participate by reading selected chapters or by reading/listening to related texts such as Rebecca Nagle’s “This Land” podcast.
The reading group will take place over 8-9 weeks, beginning the second week of October. Participants will join small groups (5-10 people) who together determine a meeting schedule and work together to think through the questions and goals of their reading/learning community.
We hope to see you there!
