Participate in NASA research at Carthage: Recruiting event TODAY

November 04, 2020

Ever dreamed of going to space or working in aerospace? The Carthage Space Sciences program gets you one step closer to that dream by offering immersive team-based research experiences right out of the David A. Straz Jr. Center!

We are recruiting for this year’s teams from 11:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 4, on Zoom.

Attend the Zoom meeting

Students of all experience levels pursuing a STEM degree and have an interest in space are encouraged to attend! Projects and teams represented at the meeting include Collegiate High-Powered Rocket Team, RockSat-C Payload Team, Microgravity Team, CubeSat Team, and a team of students, from across the state, who are developing an experiment that has been selected to fly on the International Space Station in support of Carthage’s Modal Propellant Gauging project. The meeting will provide project overviews, establish meeting schedules, and discuss the types of team roles available.

Interested students are encouraged to prepare a one-page resume highlighting your background, skills, and interests, and submit it to dweiland@carthage.edu for consideration.

We hope to see you there!
