Aviation Careers Education (ACE) Program Kick-Off

The Aviation Careers Education (ACE) program is a summer employment and learning opportunity for high school students in Milwaukee. ACE promotes aviation and space education, and provides students experiences in aviation-related jobs. ACE is the result of partnerships between industry, schools and government.

On Tuesday, June 12, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation kicked off their annual ACE summer program. Thirty-five Milwaukee Public High School students will participate in the internship program, working with a variety of businesses affiliated with General Mitchell International Airport.

On Wednesday, June 26th, Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium will present scholarship, internship, and fellowship opportunities available to graduating seniors who pursue a STEM-related degree at a WSGC affiliate college/university.
