WSGC Launches Tethered Aerostat Program

November 20, 2014

Tethered aerostats are blimps that can be lofted at altitudes of 1000 feet or more for days or weeks over a single spot. Tethered aerostats can be configured to monitor vegetation health, crop production, water temperatures, animal migration, atmospheric chemistry, and more.
