Prof. Jojin Van Winkle presents at 17th Biennial Symposium on Arts and Technology

In mid November, Professor Jojin Van Winkle presented her paper “Performance for and with the Camera: Grounded in Humor and Meditative Practice” at the 17th Biennial Symposium on Arts and Technology. Prof. Van Winkle discussed her most recent experimental film and video work.

Hosted by the Ammerman Center for Arts and Technology at Connecticut College in New London, Conn., the 2022 symposium centered around the theme “CONTACT” — bringing together artists, technologists, and scholars to dialogue about multidisciplinary practices at the intersection of arts, technology, and contemporary culture.

This three-day event featured talks, presentations, workshops, performances, and installations, along with a new media exhibition in the Cummings Arts Center galleries.
