Over $50K raised in support of students on Giving Tuesday!

Thank you to our generous alumni, parents, and community members who helped us raise over $50,000 towards scholarships, mental health services, DEI initiatives, and more this Giving Tuesday!

We set a goal to raise $17,500 in honor of Carthage’s 175th birthday and were blown away by the results! Our community came together to nearly triple our fundraising goal!

Together, we raised money for teletherapy services to support mental health and wellness on campus and for multiple scholarships to help relieve students of the burden of affording a quality education. We nearly tripled our goal towards our Wiggan-Kenniebrew Scholarships for multicultural students who demonstrate a commitment to the African American community.

We also increased support for academic programs, such as the Pathway to College Program designed for middle and high school students to participate in a two-week immersion experience at Carthage, and the Chell Scholars Fund for Undergraduate Research in Math that pairs students with a faculty member through Carthage’s Summer Undergraduate Research Experience.
