Lincoln Chamber Singers to join Kenosha Symphony Orchestra Saturday
The Lincoln Chamber Singers will join the Kenosha Symphony Orchestra for their winter concert, “Together for the Holidays,” at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at Reuther Central High School, 913 57th Street, Kenosha.
The 12-voice ensemble, comprised of students from the Carthage Choir, will sing a short program of choral works featuring music by Tomas Luis de Victoria, Cecilia McDowall, Professor Margaret Burk, Hugo Distler, and others; they will join the orchestra for two selections including John Rutter’s “Shepherd’s Carol.”
