Prof. Rachel Martinez earns psychiatric–mental health nursing certification

Rachel Martinez, assistant professor of nursing, recently passed the psychiatric-mental health nursing certification examination.

Her achievement signifies her dedication to excellent patient care, safety, and professional development.

Prof. Martinez’s certification is through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Certification Program. This program gives all nurses the opportunity to advance their nursing careers and prove their ability to provide the best patient care. The ANCC is the most respected certification in the profession.
