Prof. Angela Dassow publishes paper on best practices in bioacoustics

Prof. Angela Dassow Professor Angela Dassow and her collaborators recently published a paper titled “A Collection of Best Practices for the Collection and Analysis of Bioacoustic Data.”

The paper is the result of a NSF-funded workshop held at the National Institute for Mathematical and Biological Synthesis. It provides guidance on how to design and carry out bioacoustics studies and how to avoid common pitfalls in data collection.
