Registration week is here for returning students! We are excited to have the students in Workday registering for their fall 2023 classes.

Registration Appointments

One of the enhancements with Workday is that all students, based on their class standing, will have access to registration at the same time on their assigned day. Registration opens at 8 a.m. each day. Assigned registration days are available in Workday.

Registering from a Saved Schedule

If a student created a saved schedule last week, they still need to go back into Workday and register for classes on their assigned day.

Registering from Course Sections

Students do not need to create a saved schedule to register courses. Students can register for eligible courses directly from the course section in Workday.

Registration Support

Registration help will be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, April 24 through Friday, April 28, in Lentz Hall. Students can stop by at any time to ask questions and receive support.

Registration Updates

If a student needs to update their fall 2023 course schedule, they can drop or swap courses in Workday.

Students can join a course section’s waitlist, if there is availability. They are, however, encouraged to register for an alternative class to ensure they have a full schedule and are on track for graduation. If the student gets offered a spot from the waitlist, they will have 24 hours to accept it and can remove the alternative class at that time. If the student needs the waitlisted course in this semester to graduate, they have been advised to contact the instructor directly for approval.

Students, faculty, and staff can visit the Workday@carthage website for up-to-date information and additional resources.

Thank you for engaging with us over the past several weeks as we have prepared for this Workday implementation milestone and our student registration for the fall term. We ask that you stay engaged with us as we continue to release new functionality in Workday and new training materials.
