There are four spots left for the J-Term study tour SPN 675A TP: Spanish Language Immersion in Costa Rica. Find out how you can study Spanish for three weeks in Sámara, Costa Rica during an information session at 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, in room 413 of Lentz Hall.

Receive credit for GH, CL, ITL; two credits of conversation for Spanish minors having completed 2020. Open to beginners in Spanish.

During the study tour, you will live in a homestay with a Costa Rican family and visit several national parks on weekends. In Sámara, you will live in a small village by the Pacific Ocean and stay with a local family with whom you will interact and have breakfast and dinner every day. You will take classes of Spanish for four hours and participate in other activities organized by the school, including cooking, dance classes, yoga, and more. Two weekends will be devoted to touring with the group in the country’s national parks.

Pascal Rollet, professor of Spanish and French, is leading the tour.
