Applications are now being accepted for the 2024 J-Term study tour BIO200: Plant Adaptations in Orlando and Cocoa Beach, Florida. Students from all class years at Carthage, alumni, and community members are encouraged to apply.

In this study tour, students will discover plants and animals while hiking in wildlife reserves and kayaking in mangroves, explore the plants of coastal ecosystems near Cocoa Beach, visit the NASA Kennedy Space Center Visitor Center and learn how plants adapt to space, and explore Epcot by taking a “behind the seeds” tour of their greenhouses.
