Open auditions for the fall dance production Saturday: Sign up now
All dancers are encouraged to audition for the Dance Program’s fall dance concert, “To The Growth Edge,” on Saturday, Sept. 7, in the TARC 2235.
The audition will occur in two separate audition groups. Dancers will choose their preferred audition time (1:30-2:30 p.m. or 2:30-3:30 p.m.) on the audition form. Once the audition form is completed, participants will receive a confirmation email with an assigned audition time.
All dancers, regardless of their status as a dance minor, are welcome to audition for this production!
Audition participants do not need to prepare audition material ahead of time. If accessible, participants should bring various shoes, including ballet slippers, jazz slippers, and tap shoes. Dancers with extensive and recent pointe experience are also invited to bring pointe shoes to the audition. All other dancers are invited to participate without shoes.
If cast, dancers will rehearse weekly Tuesday, Sept. 10 through Friday, Nov. 15. Performances will occur at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19 through Thursday, Nov. 21, in the Wartburg Theatre.
