Ben Levicki ’21 gives presentation to Carthage data science majors
Carthage Mathematics Department welcomed Ben Levicki ’21 back to campus. Mr. Levicki was one of the speakers at the Sports Management Conference held later that day.
On Sept. 20, theMr. Levicki graduated with a math major from Carthage and now works as an AI solutions architect for the Cleveland Cavaliers NBA team.
Mr. Levicki graciously agreed to give a presentation and to meet with current students majoring in data science. These students and mathematics faculty members were excited to hear about his job in sports analytics and to learn about the more technical aspects of his position including how AI is being used. The faculty were particularly interested in learning how the communication, analytic, and critical skills he honed at Carthage helped him obtain this position.
