Here are three quick tips from the Carthage Center for Student Success. Check them out and let us know what you think! As always, check in with your advisor if you have any questions or concerns. We are here to help!

Establish your weekly routine and stay organized.
Use your Carthage planner and your Google calendar to keep track of your classes and assignments, your clubs and organizations, and time with your friends and family. Getting into a routine and staying organized will keep you on your A-game.

Think Healthy!
Be sure you’re getting enough sleep (6-8 hours per night), eating balanced meals (with plenty of fruits and veggies), and keeping physically active (at least 30 minutes per day). Create a challenge for yourself for each of these areas and keep with it.

Get involved now!
No worries if you missed the Organization Fair. We’ve got you covered! Check out the clubs and organizations online (http://www.carthage.edu/campus-life/clubs/) and check in with your advisor, your hall director, or your RA about getting involved. You can also talk to Becky Windberg, Director of Student Activities, and Kari Brooks, Director of Student Involvement, about all of the exciting opportunities at Carthage.

The Center for Student Success is located in the Todd Wehr Center inside the Office of Student Life.
