Music Theatre Alumna performs at New York’s renowned cabaret

Music theatre alumna Maureen Toomey ‘11 will be a featured performer at Don’t Tell Mama Cabaret.

Located in the heart of the New York theatre district, the Don’t Tell Mama Cabaret has been a celebrated venue for more than 30 years. The venue has hosted acclaimed artists such as Audra McDonald and Kristin Chenoweth, and on Oct. 1, 2013, Carthage music theatre graduate Maureen Toomey joined the list of performers to grace the Don’t Tell Mama stage!

The venue is a fitting one for Toomey, who earned acclaim for her portrayal of Sally Bowles in Carthage’s production of “Cabaret” her senior year.
